Robert Clucas-Tomlinson

Robert Clucas-Tomlinson was one of the two founder members of The Miracle Scissors. He had been previously involved in the ill-fated Savage Day project with Nick Kay. Many people criticised his vocal techniques quite heavily, including the other band members, which caused a significant amount of friction resulting in Rob walking out on the band several times. Lyrically he has improved immensely over the years after his earlier apple obsessions. Robert was the sensitive member of the band and would not appreciate the way other band members criticised his lyrics after putting a lot of effort into them. On more than one occasion comments such as 'What the £-@+ is all that about then', or 'That's a pile of $#!+' would follow Rob's initial readings. As time went by though the other members learned to appreciate his talent. The lyrics to Famous which were laughed at at first are now engraved on every one of our minds. Rob's other projects have included the Dumbfound Town with he started with Poppy, Jayne, Paul and later Chris West. He is now mostly nocturnal and has expressed a mild interest in the rumoured Jubilee Eclipse project. Rock on Tommy...
